Penwith College Key Skills

Key Skills

All students under 19 years will be expected to complete a programme of Key Skills. The level and number of Key Skills followed will be determined by individual learning programmes. Students develop the Key Skills used in their main programme of study.

Students over 19 have the option of obtaining Key Skills alongside their programme of study.
You can achieve Key Skills up to Level 3 in the Application of Number, Communication and Information Technology, and Wider Key Skills in Problem Solving, Working With Others and Improving Your Own Learning. Achievement is measured by exam and/or portfolio of evidence.
