Course structure
Students wishing to combine a university level study of the Creative Arts disciplines will find what they are looking for within this new course. The programme of study can be taken in one full-time academic year or studied part-time over, normally, two years. The disciplines on offer cover the key areas of Fine Art, Photography, Ceramics, and Media: Video Art.

The Creative Arts comprise:
- Fine Art
- Ceramics
- Fine Art Photography
- Media: Video Art.
The Professional Development addresses the key higher level academic and practical skills needed to study Creative Arts at university level. The Organisational and People Management provides an opportunity for Creative Artists to learn commercial skills.
Entry requirements
60-120 UCAS points from “A” Level or BTEC National Diploma, or NVQ level 3 in a relevant vocational area, or an Access to HE certificate. Professional experience will be considered for accreditation of prior learning.
Progression opportunities
Progression from this course will be to stage 2 of the University of Plymouth’s honours degree programme in Fine Art (subject to approval). In addition, for students wishing to stay locally, a range of cognate Foundation Degree and HNDs at Cornwall College is on offer.
