It's not all hard work ......... we believe that you should work hard and play hard and nothing epitomises this more than the students' association.
Penwith Student Association are the student voice for the College and are currently looking for active and lively students who can inject their enthusiasm and passion into fellow students. Requiring no previous experience, you'll have the opportunity to develop and produce a range of the following activities and events:
- The Vote – Voting in your Governor to represent you (all students)
- Monthly meetings – Keep your voice heard in College
- Student Parties across the year – Get in amongst it and make new friends
- Charity Events – Giving back to the community
- Balls, Awards Ceremonies and Celebrations – We like to celebrate your success
- Open Days and Taster Days – Help us motivate our potential students
- Sports Teams – Get fit and get involved
- Competitions – You have to be in to win it!
- Student Events and Excursions – Extra curricular mayhem guaranteed
- Focus Groups and Questionnaires – Are we getting things right? Let us know
- Subject Area development – Get more involved in your subject area
The sky is the limit for development of your ideas: exploding the growth of members, developing and evaluating exciting events and projects, launching fresh new ideas, helping build an online community and helping the college with important student data ... the list goes on.
So why not get involved ...........
If there's a campaign you want to run, a society you want to set up, a charity you want to help or an issue that you want raised then get involved and ask the Students' Association how they can help you.
Campaign 06
This year students are hoping to raise enough money to send two students to Peru to visit a child sponsored by the college. Students are organising a number of parties and other events throughout the year with the hope of raising enough money for the students trip in the summer of 2007.
